- Hi,
- I bought this miroCONNECT 34 last month. Since this card was made
- before Win95, I had probles installing it in Win95. But, once you get it
- installed, it works perfectly. You will have to call miro Toll-free tech
- support to receive the updated CD(software) for Win95. I did have a lot of
- problems installing it, especially enabling and disabling COMM ports. The
- card comes with preconfigured COMM 2 or 4 ports. If you running Win3.11,
- you can set it up in minutes and start using it without any problem AT
- ALL. But with Win95, you will have to play with it for a while. The card
- uses the IBM's Mwave DSP chip which enables software upgrade everytime
- they come out with something new. Voice mail capability, 16-bit 32-voices
- wavetable synthesiser and 28.8 modem are its main features. After
- installing, I haven't had a single problem at all, either with the sound
- or with the modem. No connection problems at all. This is a card I would
- recommend(in Win3.11, or Win95 after getting it working) if using as
- telephone answering machine, remote access telephone, data/fax/voice
- discriminator(detects what type of call it is), full duplex
- speakerphone....etc.
-
- For more details on this card, visit the miro homepage at
- http://www.miro.com or read about the Mwave DSP chip on the web.
-
- Anymore questions about it, please either email me or post them right
- here. Email me for a fast reply.
